Acquisition and Property Development Manager Salary: From £40,000 + car allowance Hours: 37.5 per week | Hybrid (Northampton HO & London office) Bright Horizons UK is seeking an experienced Acquisition and Development Manager to drive growth by sourcing and acquiring sites for new nursery developments, conversions, and fit-outs. Experience in a similar role and relevant Education is essential Key Responsibilities: Identify and research new property opportunities, including acquisitions. Build strong relationships with developers, agents, and investors. Lead due diligence, feasibility assessments, and financial modelling. Negotiate leases and purchase agreements. Prepare business cases for board approval and oversee development to opening. Monitor performance of new sites post-opening. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in property acquisition and development (education, retail, or leisure preferred). Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of planning requirements and L&T law. Degree in Property/Development and ideally MRICS (or working towards). Full UK driving licence. Qualifications: Relevant degree, post graduate degree, and professional qualification in Property/Development Evidence of continuous professional development (essential) Chartered Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) (or working towards) (desirable) Full, clean driving licence (essential) Why Bright Horizons?
