Opportunity Accounts Assistant Company Kudos Location Farringdon, London Company Kudos, part of Banijay UK, is one of the world’s leading television production companies, specialising in scripted content. Kudos is run by Joint Managing Directors Karen Wilson and Martin Haines. Job Purpose The Accounts Assistant will be part of the Finance team which supports the Production activities of Kudos and Wild Mercury, and ensures the reporting, analysis and compliance requirements of the business are met. Kudos is a collaborative, friendly and inclusive team. We are looking for someone with a passion for scripted television, who has a pro-active attitude, an eye for detail and accuracy, and enthusiasm for learning. This is the perfect opportunity for a Finance Assistant who is keen to develop and take on a new challenge. Duties Operational responsibilities • Weekly Supplier payments and creation of New Supplier Accounts • Co-ordinating weekly cash requirements of productions • Intercompany bank transfers and supporting weekly cashflow funding • Processing expense claims & invoices weekly • Pleo, Credit Card and Petty Cash monitoring and reconciliation; • Monitoring of Supplier Month End positions • Month end journal posting; • Bank reconciliations across Corporate and Production accounts • Overseeing the Accounts inbox and post • Assisting in preparing statutory accounts; • Assisting interim and year-end SPV audits, and Companies House compliance • Assisting in ad hoc projects analysis where required; • Trouble-shooting Finance related queries raised within the business, by suppliers and Production Teams; Corporate reporting responsibilities: • Supporting monthly cashflow reporting to Banijay Corporate head office; • Supporting month-end close reporting Banijay Corporate head office; • Assisting with corporate VAT return for Banijay UK and other UK entities • Supporting Budgeting and Forecasting processes • Assisting with queries from Banijay Corporate head office Knowledge & Skills • Accountant studying for Finance qualification / AAT • Knowledge of basic accounting software (SAP or PMI, SAGE) • Strong proficiency in Excel & the ability to accurately manipulate large amounts of data • Excellent written and verbal communication • Exceptionally well organised and an ability to work to tight deadlines • Ability to develop working relationships across the business • Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail Reporting To Finance Director Contract Type Permanent Hours 9:30am – 6:00pm Date Posted 16th December 2025 Deadline 2nd January 2026 Banijay People Contact mollie.broyd@banijayuk.com If you apply for this role, your personal information will be used by Banijay UK for recruitment purposes and in accordance with our Recruitment Privacy Policy.
