Are you an accounting professional looking to grow your skills in a close-knit, client-focused environment?

Our Bridgewater-based client is seeking an Accounting Technician to join their small and dedicated team in a permanent, full-time role. 

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Prepare public tax returns (T1s, personal) and compilation engagements
  • Provide support on a review engagement client
  • Perform general bookkeeping for a small portfolio of clients
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones and preparing client packages
  • Work with clients and senior team members to maintain accurate, timely financial information

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Previous experience in public practice is preferred; strong general bookkeeping/accounting experience will also be considered
  • CPA in progress is welcome but not required
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Caseware, Profile, and Sage50
  • Detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a small team environment
  • Friendly and client-focused, willing to assist with administrative tasks as needed
