The Role Position: Accounting Clerk Bi-Weekly Salary: $2,013.94 - $2,398.26 Division: Finance Manager: John Adams Location: Regina, SK The Accounting Clerk supports all ISM customers, Senior Accounting Clerk, the ISM Finance and Contract teams with invoicing, journal voucher processing, contract registration and other financial deliverables. The position reports to the Manager, Financial Business Solutions. The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, have knowledge of accounting principles and practices, show attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong Excel skills and a team player. Responsibilities: Supporting in all areas related to invoicing, journal voucher processing and contract registration. Provide welcoming, timely and accurate support to all of ISM and their customers. Enter various accounting transactions into the financial system. Other duties as assigned. Who You Are Qualifications: Grade 12. Completion of accounting courses equivalent to the second level of the CMA Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Two years related experience. Satisfactory job performance. Key Skills & Abilities: Experience using information systems considered an asset Two years related experience with data entry and reconciliations considered an asset Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to prepare complete and accurate accounting reports and statements of considerable complexity. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication with other employees and the public. Ability to communicate clearly, both oral and written. *Note: This role may involve working with technology that is covered by US and/or Canadian Embargo Export Regulations; therefore all applicants will be subject to additional security screening requirements.
