Responsibilities Reporting to the Financial Controller, the individual will provide support to the accounting team to meet operational and reporting deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Manage Full Cycle Accounts Payable Receive and record vendor invoices Contact vendor for any discrepancies Arrange cheque runs, EFT and wire payment Manage Full Cycle Billing Functions Issue invoices for charter and private trips Work closely with Dispatch team and monitor client payments Record client payments and control accounts receivable to a reasonable size General Accounting Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Quarterly rebates for excise taxes Other accounting projects assigned from time to time More advanced projects will be assigned as company grows Who You Are 1+ years of accounting experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, or a related field Highly detail-oriented and organized Ability to meet tight deadlines Superior analytical and problem-solving skills Strong Microsoft Excel skills Working knowledge of Sage 50 or SAP Concur is an asset Self-motivated with a desire to continually learn and grow Eligible status to work in Canada Benefits Annual bonus program Immediate extended Health and Dental benefits (medical, dental, vision, life) RRSP matching program 3 weeks vacation We welcome all applicants regardless of race, gender, orientation, sexual identity, economic class, ability, disability, age, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, or status.
