Job Summary: We’re looking for a driven Account Manager to work alongside our sales team to agree and deliver marketing and sales strategies. You’ll plan and execute customer activities, build and maintain strong relationships across your territory, and work closely with marketing to develop impactful campaigns, collateral, and regional product launches. You’ll also provide key market insights to help shape future growth. Job Description: Key Accountabilities • In conjunction with the Sales Manager, agree marketing and sales strategy and implement accordingly for the designated territory, within agreed budgets; • Plan and organise activities, in conjunction with sales Manager to ensure achievement of the sales plan; • Generate, build and maintain close working relationships with customers in the designated territory; • Work with marketing team to build collateral and programs around specific offers that can be sold directly; • Book a minimum of 2-3 face to face visits per week (8-12 per month) – KPI metrics to be agreed; • Manage customer complaints and cancellations in line with company guidelines • Manage customer debts in line with company guidelines; • Maintain client CRM data, and follow up on all leads. Manage the renewals process for the region and ensure all renewal data is recorded and tracked within the CRM System; • Create regional product launch plans – working with Product Managers and wider Sales team; • Provide market intelligence and feedback to the Sales Manager and other departments; • Work with marketing team to regularly review and maintain online content, and produce regular online news items for website/blog/twitter; • Ensure timely and accurate qualitative and quantitative reporting, fulfilling the requirements of CRM and the Sales Manager to agreed reporting cycles; • Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge of the products in order to effectively sell the features, advantages and benefits to customers; • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the status of the role as directed by the Sales Manager. Experience, skills and knowledge • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline preferred, or have the appropriate industry experience; • Evidence of successful achievement as part of a sales or marketing team; • Experience of working with Enterprise clients in a client-facing role • Customer focused, with excellent customer service skills; • Experience of utilising and exploiting a modern CRM system • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Highly organised, and able to maintain a calm, professional, analytical disposition in a stressful environment; • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team Additional information: You will join our Trapeze UK Public business unit leadership team and will report to the Sales Manager. The position will be remotely based. Travel to client sites and our head office in Chippenham, Wiltshire will be required. Other activities may require overseas travel.
