Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner Location: Kitsilano, Cornwall Ave Wage: $19.66 Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM Sunday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM About the Role: We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space at one of our sites! What you’ll be doing: Disinfecting all high touch point areas Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc. Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and windowsills, door glass Scrubbing, mopping, and general maintenance duties confined under the Janitorial Industry Additional tasks assigned by Manager You have: Motivation and a willingness to work and learn Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required Must be able to pass a background check We offer: Opportunities for growth & employee development A flexible and positive team environment About Alpine: Alpine has grown to become one of Canada’s leading janitorial and building maintenance service providers to over 2000 distinct facilities across Canada.
