Yard Assistant/ Relief Van Driver

We hope you will join us on our journey! In this role you will work as part of our external team of staff. Saturday working is a requirement for this position, and you will be expected to work alternate Saturday mornings throughout the year. Responsibilities and Duties You will be required to work as part of the Yard Team but also be required to be flexible and make multi drop deliveries to our customers in the surrounding area driving the van/pickup vehicles when needed. The role will also be helping out in the warehouse when required. When in the yard/warehouse you will: - Assist customers. Provide excellent customer service. Load and unload vehicles. Pick and check orders. Store stock safely. Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment. Qualifications and Skills This varied role will also require working in the warehouse assisting with customer orders. Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role. A Counterbalance Forklift Licence is preferred. Building industry knowledge would be an advantage. You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our customers on a daily basis, so we are looking for someone that: Has the likeability factor Has excellent customer service Hard working Positive attitude Good attention to detail.
