About the Role As a Waste Collection Technician, you will be an integral part of the operations team, responsible for managing and disposing of non-hazardous and solid waste, while supporting other maintenance functions as required. What You'll Do: * Operate and maintain waste management equipment, including the incinerator, and manage ash disposal. * Collect, separate, and dispose of solid and non-hazardous waste, ensuring proper recycling * Perform outdoor litter collection and garbage removal. * Support tradespeople with tasks and additional duties as assigned. * Ensure equipment and containers are clean and operational Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent experience. * Minimum 1 year of experience in waste collection, packaging, or disposal. * Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in adverse weather conditions. * Cross-cultural adaptability and a strong team player mindset. What We Offer * Fly-In Fly-Out schedule with 8X8 rotations (8 weeks on site, 8 weeks off site). * Travel paid from anywhere in Canada to and from the site. * Competitive salary: $42.17 - $44.39 /hour. * 40-hour work weeks with occasional overtime opportunities. * Isolation Allowance: $27/day on site. * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, disability, and life insurance. * 6% vacation pay included in each paycheck. * Pension plan with employer matching up to 6%. * Private accommodations and meals provided while on site. * Access to recreational facilities to support a balanced lifestyle.
