We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and coordinate the efficient operation of a department or shift, managing a team of approximately 25 to 35 employees. This role ensures compliance with operational procedures, drives productivity, and fosters a safe and collaborative work environment. You will play a key role in planning, monitoring performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
How You Will Contribute
- Coordinate the daily operations of the department/shift and manage a team of 25–35 employees.
- Ensure all procedures are documented and consistently followed.
- Plan and allocate labor resources based on forecasts and departmental targets.
- Monitor KPIs, quality metrics, timecard exceptions, and ensure accurate productivity reporting.
- Act on corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and maintain 5C standards.
- Conduct HR-related conversations such as performance reviews, absenteeism, and corrective interviews, supporting the Manager as needed.
- Collaborate with operational departments to ensure smooth workflow and synergy.
- Provide leadership by setting clear expectations and acting as a role model.
- Maintain 5S standards and ensure QEHS compliance, including reporting accidents and near misses.
- Identify and implement improvements in safety, efficiency, and processes.
What You Will Bring
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to resolve issues and lead by example.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of warehouse/logistics systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential); familiarity with quality systems.
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to translate improvements into actionable steps.
- 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse environment in a supervisory or supporting role.
- Capability in staff planning and understanding of financial implications.
- Flexibility to manage semi-routine assignments requiring occasional deviation from standard practices.
