Warehouse Operative

Your Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our growing team in Gillingham, Dorset. As a key member of our warehouse department, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play an instrumental role in the logistics and operations of our facility. Your key responsibilities include: Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods. Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and correct labeling. Conducting inventory records and stock checks using the Warehouse Management System (e.g., SAP). Following all site-specific safety protocols, including the handling and storage of hazardous materials. Who You Are: A strong communicator, capable of working independently as well as part of a team. A current forklift license is preferred but not essential. Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not mandatory. Familiarity with computerized stock control systems is an advantage but not essential. A good work ethic, demonstrating punctuality and reliability. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
