Warehouse Merchandise Handler (Part-Time)

Dufresne Furniture and Appliances is currently seeking a Warehouse Merchandise Handler for our Swan River store located at 1321 Main St E, Swan River, MB R0L 1Z0

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler, working Evenings and Saturdays,  you will responsible for efficient and accurate compliance with teams and provides support for visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pick-ups, and movement of goods and merchandise.

As the Warehouse Merchandise Handler, you will:

• Receive product, product returns, accessories and supplies and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for delivery or floor placement.
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation for the warehouse and sales floor.
• Look after maintenance and housekeeping of exterior (i.e. grass cutting, shovelling, cleanliness).
• Conduct general store internal maintenance (i.e. light bulbs, putty of walls, general handy-person duties, garbage).
• Support loading and unloading of freight trailers.
• Keep warehouse area and sales floor organized and clean.
• Be responsible for advertising setup and takedown.
