What you'll bring to the team Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor Division: Global Operations Grade: E Location: Alton Towers Resort Reports to: Warehouse and Logistics Manager Contract: Permanent About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to support with the smooth running of warehouse operations at Alton Towers Resort. You’ll play a key role in managing stock levels, coordinating logistics, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting the overall supply chain of the Resort. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Stock Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, implement effective storage and labelling systems, conduct audits, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy. Internal Allocations: Oversee requests for inventory, pick and deliver items efficiently, and maintain accurate records to support operational needs. Stock Takes: Plan and execute regular and ad hoc stock takes, reconcile variances, report insights to management, and train team members to ensure consistency. Coordination & Logistics: Schedule inbound and outbound shipments, liaise with couriers and suppliers, monitor operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Experience Experience & Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management. Proficiency with inventory management systems and logistics tools. Strong analytical and organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across teams and with external partners. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to warehouse and logistics operations. Skills & Competencies Operational Excellence: Implement efficient warehouse and logistics processes to minimise errors and delays. Attention to Detail: Maintain precise records and verify accuracy of inventory transactions. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve operational challenges, using root cause analysis to improve systems. Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations. Adaptability: Respond quickly to changing priorities and embrace new methods and technologies.
