Position: Experienced Waiter with Wine Knowledge Key Responsibilities - Greet and seat guests in a courteous and friendly manner. - Provide exceptional table service by taking orders, serving food, and suggesting wines from over 450 lines from 18 countries. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of our wine offerings and assist guests in making informed wine choices. - Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring the dining area is tidy and set up appropriately. - Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow. - Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns. - Upsell wine options and promote special offerings to enhance the guest experience. - Process payments accurately and efficiently. Qualifications - Proven experience as a waiter in a high-quality dining establishment. - Basic to intermediate knowledge of wines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Impeccable grooming and presentation. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences. - Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays. - Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
