As VP Product for Marketplace Services, you will lead the strategic direction, innovation, and performance of a global platform that connects millions of buyers and sellers. You’ll oversee critical areas such as Payments, Global Orders, and Agentic Commerce — ensuring frictionless transactions, reliable fulfillment, and trust across borders. This leadership role combines product vision, operational excellence, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions that drive growth and impact at a global level.
Accountabilities:
- Define and execute a multi-year product vision and roadmap that aligns with company priorities and measurable business outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing product team, creating structure and clarity to deliver meaningful results.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Partnerships to develop cohesive, scalable marketplace solutions.
- Ensure compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements are embedded into product strategies.
- Enhance user experience through optimized checkout, transparent pricing, seamless fulfillment, and trustworthy cross-border operations.
- Develop and track KPIs related to transaction success, fulfillment reliability, and user satisfaction.
- Strengthen and expand partnerships with payment providers, logistics carriers, and technology partners to improve platform reach and efficiency.
- Represent Marketplace Services in executive forums, clearly communicating strategy, trade-offs, and impact across stakeholders.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in product management, including at least 8 years in leadership roles managing multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale portfolios.
- Proven success leading marketplace, fintech, payments, logistics, or platform service initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Expertise in regulated payment systems, risk-aware solutions, or complex cross-border commerce.
- Strong experience managing P&L-impacting roadmaps and turning strategic vision into tangible results.
- Skilled in team leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration across global environments.
- Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Empathy for marketplace users and a passion for building products that balance innovation, trust, and human connection.
