VodafoneThree - Senior Business Development Lead- Defence

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Mon to Fri In the role you will cover the below areas: Develop a network of strategic relationships across Defence and Defence Partners Ensure alignment with government frameworks (e.g. JSP 440, DEFCONs and relevant ISO standards) Establish the steering group to ensure all business units are mobilised for strategic opportunities Define and implement the defence sector growth strategy Build a cross functional bid readiness programme covering, partnerships, capability alignment, compliance and governance Proven track record in leading major bids in the UK defence or critical national infrastructure sectors Strong understanding of MOD both processes and procedures, and strategy Deep experience in telecoms, network infrastructure or digital services Demonstrated ability to influence at senior levels (MOD, Industry primes and internal C-Suite) Experience in developing and executing business development strategies Resilient and credible leadership abilities, leading across multiple functions and fostering collaboration and accountability and managing matrix teams. Strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and competitor landscapes. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills; with the ability to manage complex & multi-dimensional initiatives. Industry knowledge as well as an interest in new avenues of growth, sustainability and public policies.
