Vineyard Team Leader - H/F - Horizon Job Agence D Emploi

Standing in the heart of the Burgundy’s vineyards, our client is an organic viticulture – biodynamics estate, made up of 11 employees. The vineyard team brings together 4 dynamic and autonomous people, progressing in a context of continuous improvement. This recruitment comes as a reinforcement of the existing team.

You agree to respect the practices and guidelines in use within the estate (organic and biodynamic viticulture). You carry out the tasks in the vineyard and in the cellar under the responsibility of the management and report to them on the observations collected during your work.

In the vineyard :

• You participate independently or as a team in all manual and mechanized work
• You apply and are responsible for the respect of the directives of the culture manager by the team
• You ensure the smooth organizational and technical progress of the tasks programmed by the crop manager (monitoring the smooth progress of the schedule)
• You lead and supervise the team of temporary and seasonal employees
• You report on the particularities and the progress of the work
• You alert in the event or situation whose criticality threshold - previously defined with the culture manager - will be reached

In the wine cellar :

• You occasionally participate in cellar work, from the reception of the harvest to the delivery of wine orders

Coming from an agricultural or viticultural degree, you justify a first experience of about 5 years in a similar position. You must hold a B license and own a vehicle; caces 3 is welcomed. Immediately capable of driving and handling tractors with a view in particular to soil work and phytosanitary treatments, you have an up-to-date CERTIPHYTO.

Hard skills

• Master the tasks in the vineyard (vine pruning, treatment and tillage, lifting and trellising, disbudding, desuckering, topping or trimming, leaf stripping, harvesting, etc.)
• Organize your work while respecting the safety instructions
• Prepare the viticultural equipment
• Maintain equipment
• Animation and supervision of a team
