We are recruiting at Tinubu a Vice President of Engineering to lead our credit engineering team.This role requires strong technical leadership, strategic planning, and a passion for fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. The Vice President of Engineering oversees the design , development , testing and maintenance of the new platform. Consequently this role includes the management of two divisions. RESPONSIBILITIES : * Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the company's goals and product vision. * Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, including software developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and technical managers. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. * Product Development: Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software products, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, scalability, and performance. * Technical Excellence: Champion best practices in software engineering, architecture, and agile methodologies. Ensure technical debt is managed effectively. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment on product strategy, requirements, and delivery timelines. * Budget & Resource Management: Manage engineering budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient use of resources and on-time delivery of projects. * Innovation & R&D: Drive innovation within the engineering team, encouraging the exploration of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance product offerings. * Risk Management: Identify technical risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements. * Customer Focus: Ensure that customer feedback and needs are integrated into the product development process, striving for continuous improvement in customer satisfaction. REQUIREMENTS : * Business orientated: Engage with both Customers and Investors to understand their outcome and find the best ways to meet them * Operating Model : Implement the hybrid squad model with a significant share of Indian resources in the teams using the group scrum-like methodology (story points , etc…) * Data driven : Establish and monitor the group productivity KPI to provide a high level of observability to our investors.(e.g Squad metrics, sprints completion against commitment, velocity and maturity level) * Budget Management: Build and manage the budget to meet the financial forecast and secure profitability. Ensure regular update of actuals with controlling * Engineering Roadmap delivery : working with the Product team and Customer Success teams, articulate a product and migration roadmap and trajectory that accommodate stakeholders expectation, clients and shareholders * Platform Operations management: working with the Delivery team and Customer Success team, ensure we keep customers live on the platform satisfied and fasten path to go-live for customers being onboarded * Foster a collaborative culture: federate all employees across various departments and align them on the company strategic objectives. * Artificial Intelligence leadership: Develop and foster a company culture that encourages the exploration, adoption, and amplification of artificial intelligence usage within engineering, product development, and operational processes, to optimise efficiency, decision-making, and innovation. * Fluent in FR and English TINUBU PERKS — QUICK PEEK * Flexibility On-site by design.
