In this role, you will lead data preparation, analytics, and management reporting initiatives to support multiple business divisions. You will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and presenting sales, margin, customer, and territory data, providing actionable insights to executives and managers. The role includes developing strategies and roadmaps for both internal and customer-facing reporting, as well as delivering ad hoc reports and special projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your analytical expertise to identify trends, optimize processes, and support decision-making. The position offers opportunities to influence strategic initiatives, enhance reporting practices, and provide insight that drives business growth. Travel requirements are minimal, and the work environment supports collaboration and professional development.

Accountabilities:
The Senior Business Data Analyst ensures accurate, timely, and actionable reporting across multiple business areas:

·         Collect, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources to support sales and operational decision-making.

·         Prepare daily sales reports, data warehouse outputs, and ad hoc analyses for management and executives.

·         Lead special projects, including lead generation tracking, reporting initiatives, and research requests.

·         Develop strategies and roadmaps for reporting to meet both internal and external stakeholder needs.

·         Partner with executives and sales management to identify opportunities and provide actionable insights into customer behavior and purchasing trends.

·         Maintain strong working relationships across corporate and subsidiary contacts to ensure reliable data collection and reporting.

Requirements

Candidates should bring a strong analytical foundation and experience in data-driven business environments:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.

·         5–7+ years of experience in business/data analysis, with progressive responsibility in reporting and analytics.

·         Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data warehousing is an advantage.

·         Solid understanding of business operations, sales, and marketing analytics.

·         Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.

·         Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and delivering results under tight deadlines.

·         Ability to build partnerships at all levels within the organization and support cross-functional collaboration.
