ULR Claim Handler CH3 Department: Legal Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Liverpool Description Are you an experienced claims professional with a passion for delivering exceptional service? In this role, you’ll manage a diverse caseload of pre-litigated and low-value litigated motor claims for our corporate clients, handling matters up to £100k from inception through to settlement. You’ll identify cases for early litigation, ensure accurate data input, and maintain high productivity and service standards. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with colleagues and clients, acting as a technical referral point and providing mentoring and training to support team development. Key Accountabilities To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims up to £100k, including high value/complex matters from inception to settlement. Identify cases for early litigation with high prospects To support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity To work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service To input accurate data and ensure data maintenance Interact and communicate with clients Mentoring, training and to be the technical referral point for other pre lit and litigated team members Experience, Skills and Qualifications ULR RTA handling experience of litigated matters is essential. Full Claim cycle experience, from initial quantum assessment, liability investigation and settlement negotiation. Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and email Customer service experience Excellent attention to detail Negotiation skills Communication skills Organisational skills Ability to mentor and support new starters.
