TUPE Co-Ordinator 1. Role Purpose The TUPE Co-ordinator supports the HR and Mobilisation teams in managing all aspects of the TUPE process during a contract mobilisation. The role ensures compliance with TUPE legislation, accurate data handling, effective communication, and a smooth experience for employees transferring into the organisation. The Co-ordinator will participate in consultations, gather information, support planning, and maintain full documentation throughout the process. 2. Key Responsibilities TUPE Consultations & Employee Engagement * Support the delivery of group and 1-to-1 TUPE consultation meetings. * Provide clear, professional explanations of the TUPE process, timelines, and employee rights. * Respond to routine employee queries and escalate complex issues to HR. * Assist with issuing consultation letters, FAQs, meeting invites and information packs. * Ensure employees feel supported, informed, and treated with dignity throughout the process. Data Management & Compliance * Gather, review, and verify incoming Employee Liability Information (ELI) from the outgoing contractor. * Maintain accurate records of all TUPE documentation, including attendance at consultations, employee queries, and decisions. * Track ELI amendments and ensure updates are communicated to HR and Operations. * Support GDPR-compliant handling of personal data. * Ensure all activities align with TUPE legal requirements and internal policies. Mobilisation Support * Work with the Mobilisation Manager to maintain TUPE timelines and milestones. * Prepare personnel information for onboarding, payroll set-up, and training schedules. * Assist with issuing new starter documentation (contracts, welcome packs, site rules). * Help coordinate induction and onboarding arrangements for transferring employees. * Liaise with site managers, union representatives, and outgoing contractors where required. Communication & Reporting * Provide daily/weekly TUPE progress updates to HR and the mobilisation team. * Escalate risks, employee concerns, or potential disputes promptly. * Support the creation of briefing materials, communication plans, and staff notices. * Support post-transfer follow-up to ensure any outstanding issues are resolved. 3. Key Skills & Experience Required Essential * Experience in HR, employee relations, or people-focused roles. * Strong understanding of TUPE processes or previous involvement in mobilisation or transitions. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information. * Confidence in speaking with employees at all levels. * Good administrative and record-keeping abilities. Desirable * Direct experience coordinating TUPE consultations. * Knowledge of employment law relating to TUPE. * Experience working in cleaning, FM, or service-sector environments. * HR qualification (CIPD Level 3+) or equivalent experience 5. Working Requirements * Temporary contract aligned to mobilisation timelines. * Flexibility to travel to sites and attend consultation sessions. * May require early mornings, evenings, or weekend availability depending on workforce shift patterns. Location: Dartford, London Salary: £40,000 Please note, This is a Fixed Term position for a 3 month role, this is the annual salary and all roles are interim only.
