Transport Team Leader

We are looking for a talented Transport Team Leader to join our team specialising in Logistics for our Transportation department in Daventry, United Kingdom. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become permanent. Working hours are Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift: 7:00am–3:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm (including shift allowance). In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Manage a team of up to 16 people, providing leadership, guidance and escalation support. Oversee Export and Inbound shipping processes, including booking equipment, documentation, and customs clearance. Ensure adherence to SOX, trade compliance, and all regulatory requirements. Attend key stakeholder meetings, facilitating smooth communication between senior management, internal teams, and external partners. Prepare and analyse KPI reports, documents, and dashboards that inform strategic decision‑making. Work effectively with time‑sensitive and changeable schedules, maintaining flexibility and accuracy under pressure. Identify and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and service quality. Safeguard confidential records and files, ensuring security and discretion at all times.
