Trainer, Financial Services Application Deadline: 8 December 2025 Department: Consulting Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Home United Kingdom Reporting To: Matthew Sibley Description The primary goal of the Trainer, FS at Davies Professional Education is to support learners to achieve their technical qualifications. As such, it's critical that the successful candidate be passionate about inspiring learners and delivering high-quality training. Acting as a Financial Services SME, you will create and deliver exemplarily training content to both apprentices and commercial programme students. Complementary to the above, you will also work closely with the Client Success team to support business improvement, and new business development opportunities. This role is primarily home-based but will require some face-to-face training and reports into the Bespoke Education Training Manager. Key Responsibilities Ensure workshop delivery is of the highest standard across commercial and government funded programmes, in-line with our quality assurance framework and stakeholder expectations. Ensure learners are passing their exams timely, reducing/avoiding delays on their apprenticeship/commercial programmes. Maintain up to date technical knowledge and skills to provide learners with the best experience possible, taking regular exam resits if required. Work closely with the workshops team to effectively plan when delivery will take place in line with learner journeys. Work closely with the Product team to ensure content is continually evolving and the latest material and resources are accessible on the VLE. Maintain pedagogical development to ensure your teaching practice always remains at the highest standard. Work closely with the Client Success team to maximise business development opportunities. Provide high-quality bespoke training and support aligned to commercial propositions Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Comprehensive Financial Services experience Personally qualified up to CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, a must! Understanding of vocational qualifications including Apprenticeships Confident in the creation and delivery of learning material / workshops. Experience of working within a regulatory environment (Ofsted/ESFA, CII) Experience of working with IT systems and creating webinars and e-learning content Excellent written communication, administration and time-management skills. An enthusiastic individual who delivers energising and engaging training sessions Student-centric with a genuine passion for education Good influencing/motivating skills Ability to be flexible if required to support delivery outside of normal working hours
