We are looking for a Test Equipment Integration Technician / Engineer to be responsible for developing our component test systems to defined requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, optical and mechanical test engineering principles. Responsibilities: Design and develop electro/optical test systems, to be housed in a 19inch cabinet. Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications and reports. Raise and manage the purchase of the required parts. System assembly, integration and commissioning of electro-optical test systems. Conduct functional, performance and calibration tests to ensure specification compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve test & measurement issues to component level. Skills & Experience: Essential: Level 4 / 6 qualification in an electrical, electronic, or optical discipline.. 1 – 3 years experience of system integration. Proficient in cabinet assembly, and cable management. Diagnose and resolve issues within electro/optical/mechanical test systems. Excellent documentation, communication and teamwork abilities. Desirable: Electro/optic/mechanical system design. Experience in programming in C# or Python. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
