🍴 Temporary Executive Chef – Events Company (Kent & France) Rate: £22.41 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) Engagement: PAYE via Chefs for Chefs (who will issue payroll) Contract Length: 2–3 weeks (plus pre-event preparation) Location: Kent (UK) & Le Mans, Northwest France We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Temporary Executive Chef to join our client’s prestigious events company, delivering exceptional-quality corporate hospitality at one of Europe’s most iconic motorsport events in Le Mans, France, during May, June, and July 2026. This role offers a rare opportunity to lead the culinary operation for a world-class event, combining creativity, planning, and leadership with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment. What’s Included Accommodation: Provided in France – private full-height one-person tent with a fixed bed in the crew area Meals: All meals included (plus tea, coffee, and soft drinks) Transport: Fully arranged and provided Perks: Time to enjoy the race and access to Le Mans town via private minibus Option to borrow a ticket for other circuit areas State-of-the-art toilets and showers Secure, comfortable environment with English-speaking security Role Responsibilities Lead and manage all kitchen operations to deliver hot, consistent, and high-quality meals for corporate hospitality guests Ensure every dish meets the client’s exceptional standards for taste, presentation, and timing Participate in remote planning meetings and menu development sessions in advance of the event Attend head office in Kent for menu tastings and finalisation, to be completed by January 2026 Maintain strict food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times Collaborate closely with the wider event management team to ensure seamless service delivery About You Proven experience as an Executive or Head Chef within large-scale events, hospitality, or high-volume catering Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences Comfortable working in outdoor and mobile kitchen environments Must hold a valid, in-date passport and be available for travel to France Available for remote meetings, planning sessions, and advance preparation Engagement Details You will be engaged under Chefs for Chefs PAYE, who are responsible for issuing your payroll throughout the duration of the assignment.
