About the Role As a Technical Lead at MistyWest, you’ll drive the technical vision and system design to solve client challenges. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborate closely with clients and project managers, and stay hands-on with key technologies like sensors, optics, and motion control to deliver innovative products across industries. Accountabilities Understand client goals and define technical solutions that align with their vision Translate product requirements into clear technical tasks and project plans Guide the team through implementation, problem-solving, and delivery Communicate effectively with clients, managing expectations and weekly check-ins Own the product roadmap and ensure alignment across stakeholders Ensure high-quality, technically sound deliverables Lead complex, multi-party projects and collaborate with external partners Identify opportunities for IP reuse and process improvements Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal technical leadership Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex hardware product development projects, including hardware-software integration Proven expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices Strong multidisciplinary technical background with hands-on experience in hardware systems (e.g., sensors, embedded systems, optics, motion control) Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders Excellent problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset Commitment to sustainability and developing technologies that support global environmental and social goals 4 weeks vacation to start Comprehensive health & extended dental coverage 3 Pro-D days plus an annual learning budget Banked time And much more
