Burston Primary School are seeking a reliable, nurturing and caring Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Burston Primary School. This role involves working predominantly in EYFS and KS1 to support the children in their learning and personal development, including during lunchtimes. You will play a key role in fostering a supportive, inclusive and engaging atmosphere, helping pupils thrive academically and socially. You will: hold GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics have previous experience working with children, ideally at primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment be a paediatric first aider or be willing to train as one be committed to high standards in teaching, learning, and professional development demonstrate excellent communication skills, a warm and caring personality, and a good sense of humour understand the value of an inclusive environment and uphold high expectations for pupil behaviour be friendly, approachable, and professional in all aspects of school life ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils, following school procedures during playtimes, lunchtimes, and classroom sessions.
