Thurston CE Primary Academy is looking to recruit an appropriately experienced, motivated and hardworking Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated, supportive and highly effective team. We are looking for a highly motivated team player, with a calm and patient approach who: is able to support pupils on a one-to-one basis has good literacy and numeracy skills has an ELSA accreditation (preferable) can form positive relationships and undertake the key worker role, liaising with the SENDCo, health professionals and parents is willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary. We relocated to a larger area in Norton Road in Thurston in 2021 to accommodate the huge expansion, which will see the school grow from being able to accommodate 210 pupils to 420.
