Teaching Assistant

Outwood Primary Academy Lofthouse Gate is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their academy. About the role The successful candidate will work as a Teaching Assistant by supporting the teaching and learning of Maths and English, under the direction of teaching staff. This is a temporary post to 31 August 2026 and the working pattern for this position is 16 hours 08:50am to 12:00 Monday to Friday. Term Time plus 2 inset days. The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated individual with high expectations for all pupils. An excellent curriculum knowledge is essential. The post involves working with pupils with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities. To apply for this post you will need to demonstrate previous experience in working in this field.
