The Supervisor, Skating Services will have a passion for skating and community recreation, strong leadership skills, and proven experience in program coordination and staff supervision. Responsibilities include scheduling and payroll for staff, coordinating skating programs, managing invoicing and communications, and ensuring excellent customer service. Major Responsibilities- in this position, you will: * Staff scheduling and payroll * Invoicing and communication with School groups * Schedule NID skating programs * Communicate concerns with Director and City staff, such as required maintenance * Work with the YMCA Marketing and Communications team to make social media posts, newsletters and posters/flyers * Provide staff coverage when needed * Plan and facilitate special events * Ensure staff have necessary supplies and equipment * Respond to concerns, refund requests and customer service issues * Provide coaching and mentorship to Cashiers and Ice Attendants * Cash management. Qualification-you bring: * At least 2 years experience in a related position * Possess a valid Standard First Aid with CPR C/AED certificate * Have access to reliable transportation * Demonstrated achievement of administrative tasks * Relevant training/education * Strong attention to detail * Demonstrated supervisory experience * Passion for skating and/or community recreation * Successful candidate will be required to provide 3 satisfactory references * Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record check with a Vulnerable sector search issued no later than six (6) months preceding the start date.
