Intertek is currently participating in a major tender for FLNG project and in anticipation of a project award, we are seeking a highly skilled Subsea System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in subsea systems design, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop subsea systems in line with project specs, industry codes, and company standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration with offshore installations. Review and improve technical specifications and documentation. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures. Oversee detailed engineering by Third Party Contractors; review and approve technical documents. Manage and resolve technical and interface issues across work packages. Support offshore installation, commissioning, and start-up activities. Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, and SIMOPS meetings. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in subsea systems engineering, preferably within the oil and gas sector. Skills: Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations for subsea equipment. Languages: Proficient in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus. Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach. Contract duration : 1 to 3 years
