Job Title: Strategic Account Manager - Hotel Chains

Working model: Hybrid, from London, remote from the UK

Level: Professional 

Location: Madrid or London, United Kingdom 

Contract: Fixed-Term 1-year (Maternity Cover)

Travel required: average 25% needed 

 

What your impact will be:

  • Own and grow the relationship between lastminute.com and our strategic hotel chain partners, ensuring lasting, high-impact collaborations.
  • Negotiate and deliver competitive commercial agreements that drive profitable growth and elevate our customers’ travel experience.
  • Partner cross-functionally with legal, product, connectivity, and media teams to ensure seamless integration, smooth migrations, and strong marketing partnerships.
  • Analyse chain performance, identify opportunities, and lead regular business reviews to ensure mutual success.
  • Act as the go-to expert and trusted advisor for both our hotel partners and our regional field teams, providing strategic insight and hands-on support.

Qualifications

Your expertise :

  • Proven experience in the online travel, hotel, or distribution industry, with a track record in account management or strategic partnerships.
  • Exceptional relationship builder and negotiator — confident influencing at all levels, from hotel executives to internal stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute with a strong analytical mindset — you make data-driven decisions and thrive on achieving tangible results.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of juggling multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (French a plus), and comfortable presenting to both internal teams and external partners. Fluent in English and Spanish (French a plus), given frequent collaboration with UK and Spanish hotel chain

Desirable:

  • Previous experience managing multi-market hotel chain partnerships.
  • Understanding of hotel connectivity platforms and distribution systems (CRS, PMS, GDS).
  • Familiarity with digital media collaborations and co-marketing initiatives.
