STOCKER

Reports to: Store Director

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

As a stocker, you will play a crucial role in keeping our store organize, well-stocked, and inviting for customers. You will maintain inventory levels, fill the shelves with fresh products, and create a clean, easy-to-navigate shopping experience. This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a team. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stock and organize shelves
• Unload and process deliveries
• Rotate inventory
• Maintain store cleanliness
• Assist customers
• Monitor inventory levels
• Set up displays
• Follow safety procedures
• Support team operations
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• Basic math and reading skills for inventory management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Customer service skills to assist shoppers when needed
• Prior stocking, warehouse, or retail experience is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Indoor environment with occasional exposure to cold storage areas
• Fast-paced setting, particularly during peak shopping hours
• Frequent interaction with customers and team members
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including a variety of shifts, days, evenings, nights, and weekends including overtime, as needed

• Continuously stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must have visual and hearing acuity.
• Occasionally to frequently climb a foot stool or ladder to reach items located on shelves, in coolers, freezers, stockrooms, etc.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to reach, lift, push and carry 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Operating equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and box cutters
• Ability to speak to, hear, and understand others via phone and in person in English
