Staff Infrastructure Engineer (Remote - US)

In this role, you will lead efforts to modernize and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting large-scale SaaS applications. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable systems, ensuring seamless CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment processes, and robust reliability across cloud environments. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to enhance the developer experience, drive best practices in performance, and influence infrastructure strategy. You will leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools to streamline workflows, support continuous delivery, and ensure operational excellence. The role emphasizes technical leadership, hands-on engineering, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

• Lead initiatives to enhance the web application developer experience, modernizing build and deployment workflows.
• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to support scalable, reliable, and automated infrastructure.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Enterprise, ArgoCD, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Deploy and operate workloads in cloud environments, including AWS and GCP, leveraging Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling to improve system reliability, operational efficiency, and consistency.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure compliance and seamless software delivery.
• Drive best practices in performance optimization, scalability, and infrastructure resilience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related disciplines.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.
• Hands-on experience with ArgoCD, Jenkins, Artifactory, and GitHub Enterprise.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services and Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Programming skills in Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages for automation and system integration.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and deployment strategies.
• Proven ability to design and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
