This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Customer Engineer in the United States.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in helping organizations design, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide data governance programs. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, technical teams, and program leaders to translate complex governance principles into actionable strategies that drive measurable business value. This position allows you to lead workshops, conduct assessments, and provide strategic advisory, empowering customers to maximize their data platform investments. You will operate in a collaborative, high-impact environment where your expertise directly influences adoption, operational efficiency, and organizational change. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential to thrive in this role.
· Provide strategic advisory to executives and program leaders to build and sustain effective data governance programs.
· Conduct in-depth assessments to identify and resolve organizational, cultural, and procedural challenges.
· Facilitate high-impact workshops covering strategic direction, use case prioritization, organizational change, and adoption strategies.
· Execute Data Governance Maturity Assessments to benchmark capabilities and define phased roadmaps for improvement.
· Develop and share thought leadership, best practices, and success stories within the customer ecosystem.
· Foster long-term customer relationships through consultative engagement and actionable recommendations.
Requirements
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Governance Program Leader, Program Manager, or equivalent senior-level role.
· At least 2 years of direct, hands-on experience with the Collibra Data Platform or similar data governance solutions.
· Proven ability to engage customers consultatively and establish credibility with diverse stakeholders.
· Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, capable of influencing both technical and executive audiences.
· Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
· Ability to operate independently while collaborating across global teams.
