Site Reliability Engineering Architect (SRE Architect) Pillar Alignment: Reliability Summary: The SRE Architect is a senior engineer responsible for designing and implementing the foundational platforms and practices for system stability, performance, and efficiency across all Tech Engineering solutions. This hands-on role will build out the core capabilities for DevOps, monitoring, and observability to support domain teams with agility. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement the division's DevOps platform and practices, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). Establish a comprehensive monitoring and observability platform for end-to-end visibility. Define standards for Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and lead SRE activities. Implement and manage the test automation platform and continuous delivery pipelines. Provide expert guidance on cloud infrastructure and operations, primarily within the Azure ecosystem. Required Experience - 6+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE, with proven experience building large-scale, automated platforms from scratch. Technical Skillsets - DevOps/Automation: Mastery of DevOps principles and tools, including CI/CD pipeline definition (e.g., Azure DevOps). Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expert in Terraform, ARM Templates, or Ansible for infras code. SRE/Observability: Deep knowledge of SRE activities and tools for monitoring and observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, end-to-end tracing). Cloud: Strong command of Azure cloud services and networking. Scripting: Proficiency in Python or Bash.
