This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr Solutions Architect (Presales - Enterprise Networking) in the United States.

This role is a hybrid remote opportunity for candidates located in Raleigh or Charlotte, North Carolina, offering the chance to lead technical presales efforts for enterprise networking solutions. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating closely with sales teams and clients to design and propose complex, multi-vendor network solutions. You will provide guidance on solution architecture, author RFP responses, and deliver presentations that demonstrate technical capabilities. This position combines hands-on technical expertise, client interaction, and strategic planning, directly influencing revenue growth and long-term customer success. It offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies across cloud, mobility, and data center networking, in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for enterprise networking solutions in presales engagements.
  • Provide guidance to sales teams on technical solution design, hardware/software configuration, and implementation planning.
  • Conduct client presentations, technical workshops, and knowledge transfers to showcase recommended solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal architects, engineers, and vendors to develop sustainable IT roadmaps and solution proposals.
  • Author technical sections of RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business goals.
  • Lead technical scoping and reviews for Statements of Work (SOWs) and complex multi-vendor solution designs.
  • Mentor junior associates and support the sales team with technical account planning and opportunity development.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvements and contribute to best practices within the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking administration or solution design.
  • 5+ years of experience providing presales engineering support.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, including:
    • Switching platforms (Juniper, Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Arista, Aruba CX & Fortinet)
    • WAN technologies (Cisco edge routing, eBGP)
    • Cisco ACI and/or VMware NSX-T
    • Wireless platforms (Cisco Catalyst, Meraki, Juniper Mist, Aruba)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Windows OS, Active Directory, Exchange, O365).
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure or AWS).
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications in networking technologies preferred.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
