Sr. Software Engineer (Remote - US)

You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to integration and post-delivery support, while occasionally traveling to work with customers worldwide. Accountabilities:

·         Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, integration, and documentation.

·         Develop software components, device drivers, automation scripts, and user interfaces.

·         Debug, test, and maintain software to ensure high-quality performance.

·         Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand technical requirements and deliver solutions.

·         Support software development environments, including source code repositories, build servers, and virtual machines.

·         Contribute to cross-functional team efforts for integration, verification, and validation of systems.

·         Occasionally travel domestically and internationally to customer sites for project deployment and support.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).

·         Minimum of 5 years of software development experience (or 3 years with proven expertise).

·         Eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance; U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

·         Experience or knowledge in network communications, serial communications, or device integration.

·         Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Tcl, Groovy) and development tools (Java, HTML5, OSGi, Eclipse, Subversion, Maven).

·         Experience with Windows and Linux environments, DBMS concepts, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

·         Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills; self-driven with a collaborative attitude.

·         Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
