In this role, you will oversee on-site coordination for high-value projects, ensuring seamless execution of installation, testing, and operational activities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for project teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and specification compliance. This position requires strong problem-solving skills to resolve mechanical and installation challenges while maintaining progress against tight deadlines. You will manage cross-departmental collaboration, mentor team members, and influence project outcomes through decisive action and tactical planning. The role offers the opportunity to lead complex material handling and logistics projects, directly impacting efficiency, safety, and project success.

Accountabilities:

  • Oversee daily on-site project activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
  • Coordinate efforts between multiple departments, subcontractors, and clients to maintain smooth project execution.
  • Develop solutions to installation and mechanical challenges, anticipating and resolving issues proactively.
  • Schedule and monitor engineering activities, analyzing progress and addressing potential delays.
  • Lead team members, recruit talent, and evaluate performance to maintain a high-performing workforce.
  • Make tactical decisions to keep projects on track and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in site project management or material handling industry.
  • Proven ability to manage a team or department effectively.
  • Experience with detailed scheduling, project planning, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced project environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with internal teams and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must be able to work 100% on-site with travel as required.
