YOUR IMPACT As Sales Director UK&I for Cybersecurity at OpenText, you will lead and scale our regional business focused on the OpenText Cybersecurity wide portfolio. You’ll set the strategic direction, own targets and ensure the team delivers cutting-edge AI-powered threat detection and response, identity management, application security management and data protection solutions. Your leadership will empower customers to anticipate risks, simplify compliance, and secure their entire digital footprint across identities, data, applications, users, and devices. WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS • Develop and execute regional sales strategy and plans to exceed revenue goals for the Cybersecurity wide portfolio. • Build and nurture strong relationships with C-level executives positioning OpenText as a trusted partner in Cybersecurity. • Lead a high-performing sales team, driving coaching, performance reviews, and continuous development. • Drive value in customer engagements with enterprise and managed service provider (MSP) audiences, leveraging threat detection, data protection, identity & access management, and compliance solutions. • Support complex deal cycles, including legal contracting and navigating procurement and compliance. • Partner with the Global Accounts team (WW Top 100 Accounts) and the other OpenText Business Units (Content Management, Application Development Management, Digital eXperience, Business Network, Observability and Service Management) to build and sell cross-BU solutions. • Leverage OpenText Strategic Alliances with SAP, Microsoft and the Global Systems Integrators. • Represent OpenText Cybersecurity Enterprise at industry events, security forums, and customer briefings. • Harness the full product suite – from Secure Cloud platform for MSPs/SMBs, to AI-powered threat intelligence and threat detection and response. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED • Demonstrated enterprise software sales leadership with success in cybersecurity or related markets. • Deep understanding of cybersecurity domains: threat detection & response, identity & access management, data protection, application security and endpoint security. • Ability to lead and motivate teams, develop talent, and drive high performance. • Strong strategic, financial, and business acumen, including experience with forecasting, quota setting, and partner/channel leverage. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including with C-level executives. • Comfort with complex deal structures, compliance, regulatory needs, and navigating public sector or enterprise frameworks. • Willingness to act as the face of the product: presenting at events, webinars, and briefings.
