We are looking for a motivated Recruiter experienced in blue-collar and skilled trades hiring, ideally within the mining, industrial, or heavy equipment sectors. This role supports high-volume recruitment needs and partners closely with hiring managers to ensure operational staffing success — all in a fully remote capacity.

Location: 100% Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for blue-collar, trades, and mining-related roles (e.g., equipment operators, maintenance technicians, millwrights, plant operators, electricians, process plant workers, warehouse/logistics, etc.).
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to gather technical requirements, timelines, and candidate expectations
  • Source candidates through job boards, community networks, social media, referrals, and industry associations.
  • Screen applicants to evaluate skills, certifications, safety culture, and job fit.
  • Schedule interviews, gather feedback, and support the offer process.
  • Support pre-employment processes — reference checks, documentation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Build talent pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill mining and trades positions.
  • Maintain accurate, organized hiring data in the ATS and the recruitment tracker.

Qualifications

  • 3 –5 years of experience in recruitment, ideally in blue-collar / mining / heavy equipment environments.
  • Fully bilingual in French & English — verbal and written.
  • Experience sourcing talent within the Québec labor market.
  • Ability to handle high-volume recruitment and prioritize multiple roles.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment tools (asset).
