Sr. Distinguished Engineer - SDUI (Remote Eligible)

We are seeking an expert software engineer to lead the development of next-generation server-driven user interface (SDUI) frameworks and developer tooling. This role offers the opportunity to shape technical strategy, drive architecture decisions, and influence the engineering culture across multiple teams. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and technical leaders to create scalable, high-performance solutions that enhance cross-platform user experiences. Accountabilities:

·         Define and evangelize technical vision and strategy for SDUI frameworks, platforms, and developer tooling.

·         Lead architecture and design for full-stack solutions that support cross-platform mobile and web experiences.

·         Decompose complex technical problems into practical, operational solutions while ensuring system performance, scalability, and operability.

·         Create reusable, high-quality code, documentation, and technical guidance to share knowledge across the engineering community.

·         Mentor and coach engineers and technical leaders, helping build technical expertise and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

·         Collaborate with multiple teams on simultaneous projects, balancing priorities to maximize impact.

·         Continuously learn and integrate advanced technical knowledge into development practices.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

·         10+ years of professional software engineering and solution architecture experience.

·         5+ years of experience designing and building SDUI platforms and client-side architecture for mobile (iOS/Android) including SDKs or frameworks.

·         Strong proficiency in coding with languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, or Kotlin.

·         Experience across the full lifecycle of system development: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

·         3+ years of experience with public or private cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

·         Proven ability to lead through technical contribution, mentor peers, and influence cross-functional teams.

·         Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

·         Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality results.
