Description of Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare all financial activities including specified entries/requirements for monthly close process
• Financial Reporting & Analysis – provide timely and insightful variance analysis of financial results. Prepare and distribute recurring business reports. Develop monthly and quarterly financial forecasts
• Analyze cost variances, determining root causes, and implementing actions plans to improve.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process, partner with all levels of Canada team (Commercials, Operations, and functional leaders) to develop annual budget.
• Complete monthly account reconciliations.
• Business partner to help identify, communicate, and align cross functional Teams to mitigate financial risks and pursue opportunities.
• Conduct special projects as required
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA is preferred.
• Experience in accounting or finance is preferred
• Strong analytical and computer skills required. Excel super user (pivot tables, VLookups, macros, ability to manage large amounts of data). High level proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of ERP systems, proficiency with SAP ECC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Business Intelligence (BI-BW) reporting tools such as Advance analysis and WEBI reports a plus
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of personnel across various functions
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Position will be hybrid and may require less than 10% of travel.
