About the Role As Sous Chef, you’ll play a vital role in developing and delivering our new modern gastro menu. Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll help shape dishes that showcase locally sourced, seasonal ingredients — including our signature, ethically sourced beef. Key Responsibilities Menu Development: Contribute to the creation, testing, and execution of innovative, seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant’s evolving concept. Kitchen Leadership: Inspire, train, and support junior chefs, ensuring consistent quality, timing, and presentation. Operational Excellence: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including stock control, inventory management, and hygiene compliance. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards across every dish, ensuring excellence in flavour, presentation, and consistency.
