The K-12 Solutions Engineer will play a pivotal role in helping educational institutions leverage technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. This role involves working closely with sales and client teams to provide technical guidance, product demonstrations, and tailored solutions for K-12 schools, districts, and state-level organizations. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating complex educational and technical concepts into actionable solutions while ensuring alignment with best practices. The position offers the opportunity to influence product adoption, drive customer success, and contribute to the broader mission of supporting educators and students. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and has strong communication skills to engage a variety of stakeholders. Extensive travel is expected to deliver hands-on support, training, and strategic guidance.
Accountabilities:
· Collaborate with sales and client teams to position educational technology solutions effectively across K-12 institutions.
· Develop and deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations that are clear, engaging, and aligned with instructional goals.
· Act as a strategic and technical advisor to prospective customers, providing solutions that meet both educational and operational needs.
· Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs, ensuring accurate and compelling proposals.
· Mentor and coach colleagues on educational technology, instructional best practices, and effective solution delivery.
· Maintain organized records and knowledge-sharing practices to track project progress and outcomes.
Requirements
· Experience in education, preferably in leadership at a school, district, or state level, or in a technical sales role within EdTech.
· Strong understanding of instructional best practices and digital tools that support teaching and learning. Prior LMS or AMS administration experience is preferred.
· Technical proficiency with web and mobile technologies, SaaS platforms, systems integration, APIs, and student information systems.
· Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders in virtual and in-person settings.
· Highly organized, analytical, and able to navigate complex sales or technical challenges creatively.
· Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%).
