Solution Architect Lead

You will work closely with Domain Architects, Technical Leads, Application Domain Owners, Business, and other collaborators to architect robust, reliable, performant, and scalable solutions.

You support the delivery of IT initiatives as Solution Architect, accountable for defining and realizing end‑to‑end architecture solutions that fulfil functional, non‑functional, security, and resilience requirements.

Role

• Understanding the Business Requirements and Technical Constraints
• Delivering a coherent end‑to‑end IT solution that meets both functional and non‑functional requirements
• Ensuring that the IT solution aligns with Enterprise Architecture standards and business needs
• Estimating effort to implement the solution
• Presenting the proposed solution architecture and plans to Euroclear management and all collaborators
• Ensuring end‑to‑end consistency across platforms and teams, for example by organizing walkthroughs of the solution with delivery teams
• Ensuring that the solution meets guidelines and standards for design and development
• Undertaking hands‑on development activities such as prototypes or proof‑of‑concepts to validate key architectural components
• Coaching staff in new technologies used

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solutions Architect and at least 8 years of overall IT experience
• Experience in the Financial Services industry is desired but not essential
• Experience working on end‑to‑end solution architecture for large projects with stringent recovery, availability, operability, and resiliency requirements
• Preferably proven experience in Microsoft technologies, applications, event‑driven and API architecture, and cloud computing
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down and structure complex problems across multiple architectural domains
• Proactive in identifying the need for change and proposing innovative solutions that improve IT software delivery or engineering processes
• Ability to build strong relationships with other Solution Architects and across divisions
• Ability to coach and mentor new team members in applying solution architecture and understanding domain interactions and complexities
• Ability to understand and challenge Business Requirements
• Ability to explain solution design to non‑technical collaborators
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening
• Assertiveness in driving tasks to completion
• Ability to remain resilient under pressure
• Ability to drive end‑to‑end solution architecture ensuring alignment with Euroclear’s enterprise standards, cloud strategy, and modernization roadmap
• Ability to shape and guide cross‑tribe architecture decisions, enabling scalable, secure, resilient, and future‑proof digital engagement solutions
