Position #: 174597 Expected Start Date: October 06, 2025 Union: HSAS Facility: MHAS Community Recovery Adult Services City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Mental Health Home Health Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: October 06, 2026 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: Yes Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Social Worker - BSW $35.137 to $42.966 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The incumbent provides case management, assessment and counseling services to adults experiencing changes in their quality of life due to the deterioration of their mental health. Working collaboratively with a number of MHAS providers and the community, the primary responsibility of the incumbent will be to provide assertive outreach case management services in a variety of community settings to a wide range of adult clients. The incumbent will work as part of a team focused on providing psychosocial case management supports to persons in need of assistance with understanding their illness, recovery planning, housing, ongoing engagement and assessment, coordination of services and supports and managing crisis as relevant. Depending on client demand the incumbent may be assigned to provide counseling supports to other MHAS Teams as required. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Experience 1 year of supervised clinical counselling Education Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Registered Social Worker (RSW) Other Education and Training Experience working with community groups and affiliated services is an asset Competencies Intermediate - Verbal communication skills Basic - Computer skills Intermediate - Written Communication Skills Basic - Interpersonal skills Basic - Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Other Information For more information on the city of Saskatoon please visit https://www.saskatoon.ca/ Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body Travel required
