Provides professional consultation and collaborative support as an interdisciplinary team member. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Competencies Intermediate - Counseling skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge in individual, family, group, and crisis counselling methods Knowledge in human development and family dynamics Knowledge in local human service organizations, resources, referral procedures Commitment to quality, safety, and improvement striving towards zero harm Knowledge of community programs/services Knowledge of current trends/issues/best practice strategies Ability to engage in community program consultation.
