St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) operates from three Dublin locations – St Luke’s Hospital Rathgar and St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centres on the campuses of St James and Beaumont Hospitals.

The Network provides a full range of world class treatments including a comprehensive VMAT programme, Intra-cranial Stereotactic (SRS), Extra-cranial Stereotactic (SBRT), Total Body Irradiation (TBI) and the national paediatric radiation oncology service

St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) has a long history of involvement in clinical trials and works very closely with Clinical Trials Ireland

The SLRON Clinical Trials Unit brings together a skilled and caring team of professionals, including Radiation Therapists, Research Nurses, Medical Physicists, Clinical Trial Administrators, Biostatistician, Data Manager, Research Ethics Coordinator, Project Manager.

SLRON is working towards reaching the target set by The National Cancer Strategy for Ireland of at least 6% of cancer patients in Ireland to be enrolled in clinical trials each year. In 2024, more patients took part in interventional cancer trials at SLRON than at any other hospital in Ireland.

The available posts are currently placed in the Clinical Trials Unit - St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON). A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
