Skid Steer & Loader Operator

Job Title: Seasonal Skid Steer & Loader Operator Location: Edmonton, AB Employment Type: Seasonal Our client is seeking experienced Skid Steer and Loader Operators to support snow removal operations in Edmonton this winter season. Operators will be responsible for safely and efficiently clearing snow and ice from commercial, industrial, and residential sites using heavy equipment. Key Responsibilities: Operate skid steers, loaders, and related equipment for snow removal and ice control Load and haul snow as required Apply de-icing materials (sand, salt, or other products) when directed Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance or safety issues Work collaboratively with site supervisors and crew members to ensure timely and efficient snow clearing Requirements: Valid safety certifications: WHMIS, First Aid, CSTS (Construction Safety Training System), Fire Extinguisher Training Proven experience operating skid steers and loaders (snow removal experience preferred) Valid Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset) Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and on short notice during snow events Strong commitment to workplace safety
